  • Aprašymas: In a maternity clinic the prostitute Sonia substitutes her baby for someone else’s which died soon after birth. Years pass, and the child grows up with Pavlos and Eleni, who have no idea that the child is not theirs. Poverty and privation force Pavlos to leave for Germany. There, despite the warnings of other migrants, he entrusts Frixos (a well-known bastard and Sonia’s former boyfriend, who is actually the father of the child that took the place of the dead one) with a letter for his wife. Frixos meets Eleni but doesn’t give her the letter. On the contrary, he tells her that her husband is involved with a German woman and cunningly lures her into temptation. Nevertheless, Eleni and Pavlos, after going through a number of ordeals, get together again and finally find happiness.
